About Sasha Aink

Consistency is a set
of deliberate choices.

This independent icon-design portfolio uses fictional interface briefs to make those choices inspectable. No product employment, commercial launch or client result is presented.

Start with meaning.

Two icons can share a grid and still fail to communicate. The first question is what each symbol needs to mean, where it will appear and which labels accompany it.

  1. Inventory before ornament. Reduce ambiguous meanings before drawing variations.
  2. Optical balance before arithmetic. A shared box helps, but shapes still need visual adjustment.
  3. Context before claims. A finished SVG does not prove a finished interface.

The studies show navigation, utility and feedback examples as original vector artwork. They demonstrate a possible direction without claiming that a real system has been built or tested.
