Independent original concept / Status icon set

Signal States

Feedback and status icons for a fictional task interface.

Signal States complete six-icon study board.
Fictional interface study. Labels describe the example; no deployed application is represented.

The interface brief

The imagined interface needs to distinguish information, a confirmed state and a next action. The study explores how a small family can communicate different roles without relying on colour alone.

The drawing rules

The information symbol, check and directional arrow use distinct shapes. The grid and rounded line endings connect them visually without making their meanings identical. The flat board intentionally shows the whole family.

Beyond the vector

A status needs contextual words and appropriate announcements when it changes in a real product. The study makes no usability, accessibility certification or measured performance claim.

For an actual request, share the meanings, approximate count, target sizes and relevant interface screenshots with private information removed. Agree revisions and handover formats before work begins.
